Bridgestone at Agritechnica 2013
Innovative tyres for more efficient and sustainable farming
Bridgestone, the world’s number one tyre manufacturer – owner of leading brand Firestone – will participate in this year’s AGRITECHNICA show, taking place in Hannover, Germany, from 10th to 16th November.
New Firestone agricultural tyres - designed for growing results!
On the 238m², two-storey booth (Hall 9, stand N° G23), Bridgestone will showcase some of its premium 100% European-made Firestone agricultural tyres.
Over the last two years, about 75% of the Firestone radial agricultural tyres product range has already been renewed. The Maxi Traction for combine and the Performer for sprayer, both on display, are the most recent landmarks in this ambitious product development roadmap.
Firestone agricultural tyres are conceived to deliver substantial benefits to European farmers: low soil compaction, great efficiency, low fuel consumption.
Higher farming efficiency with the patented Dual Angle Lug Technology
Dual Angle Lug design technology
All Firestone Performer and Maxi Traction products feature the unique and patented Dual Angle Lug design technology, providing around 4% more traction than standard design tyres1. In addition, the design has very good self-cleaning capabilities and causes less soil disturbance, contributing to even more enhanced traction.
Independent tests conducted during 2012 and 2013 in Belgium2 and Germany3, comparing the Performer 65 (650/65R42) and the Maxi Traction IF (IF710/70R38) with three main competitors, including top-selling tyre brands in Europe, have demonstrated the superiority of these Firestone tyres in traction and hence work rate.
Firestone, agriculture embedded in its DNA
Visitors will not only discover the new products and technologies, but will also have the opportunity to explore Firestone’s long history, and understand how this powerful legacy makes Firestone a global leading agricultural tyre brand.
Visit the Bridgestone stand, or take a look at the renewed European Firestone agricultural tyres website, www.firestone.eu/agri to find out why the Firestone products are designed for growing results.
1 Dual Angle Lug design technology has 4% more contact surface compared to a standard tyre, translating into 4% extra traction.
